. . . It's the Orator - we're waiting for him at the moment - who'll answer
for me, who'll explain to you exactly how we feel about everything . . . he'll
make it all clear . . . when? . . . when the right time comes . . . you won't
have to wait long now . . .
Old Woman: [to her friends] The sooner the better . . . But of course . . .
[Aside] There's no peace for us now. If only they'd all go away! Where is
my little pet? I can't see him any more . . .
